September 3, 2008 Incidence of Car Break In / Theft
September 8, 2008
I am a victim of Car Break In. It happened on my driveway, and I felt very violated! My car was park on the driveway adjacent to the street. It happened sometime between Midnight and 6am. The theif(ves) broke my front passenger glass and grabbed my radar detector. I know I should have known better to leave that on my windshield, but I never thought that would happen at my property. I guess I was being naive. I called the police and filed a report and I gave him my radar detector serial number and hopefully it may be recovered down the road which I really doubt it. I believe the power of Internet and hopefully by a small chance someone knows something about this incidence. I am at Spring, Texas near Hardy Toll Road and Interstate 45. By a very slim chance if you know about this, please call the Precinct four Constables at 281-540-1010. I put a spot light and a hidden camera on my driveway and hopefully this will deter any future theft. Here is the radar detector serial number AY046254; Beltronics Vector 940. Maybe it’s on the ebay now, who knows.

Sorry to hear that. I hope they catch who did it. You know where I live periodically someone smashes somebody’s mail box and I’ve been considering putting camera’s around my house. Let me know how well they work.

Thanks, Explorespring. Please be careful with the storm since the eye is supposely going to pass over Spring area. I am trying the Remington Game Scouting Camera with 5.0 megapixels. http://www.remingtonfeeders.com Hopefully this camera will do a great job to catch whoever is coming up to my property. Take care.
